As natural nocturnal hunters,cats have evolved their sense organs to highly tuned abilities.Not only to do these senses serve to aid hunting ,but also to keep cat safe from predators.Even though most cats today live in safe,domestic enviroment,they still display many characteristics that they developed in wild.Like example is for hunting food,survival to spot predators hunting them and other day to day survival activities required using senses like smell or vision but also taste etc...

Sight - Now lot of people think that cats has some sort of super power and can see in the dark but that is simply not true. Without illumination they can see no better than humans. However it is true that they can see better than humans in low level light.
The eyes of cat are constructed differently than human eye,eyeball is rounder than human eye allowing the cat to focus more closely than we can .
Hearing - Although there are different shape and sizes cats ears are always set on head rather than sides of the head like humans ear's.Also external organ is movable allowing the pinna for directional location of the sound.The inner ear has also larger echo chambers so that cat can detect higher and lower frequencies than human .
Scent - The cat nose has olefactory receptors which is really specialised organ that can detect low concentration of substances in air. Bit like a human receptors transmit information to brain which allow cat to react.
Flehming - Now im not trying to copy and paste every information about cat i can find on the internet so pls don't expect encyclopedia exact content as this blog is not about that.flehming is reaction found in every mammals.It cause lips to curl back.It's mostly associated with wild cats as domestic cats don't require use of it as such in day to day activities.It also allow register more aromas in Jacobson's Organ(read more about that on wikipedia if you are interested and don't know)
As i writing this blog i learning more about writing blogs and realising that any website/blogs etc...is never finished .With endless online information provided like on google etc...there's literally never ending new content to be found.
